Forever working them adductor muscles to open up for straddle splits. Definitely feeling more comfortable here so I can hang out for a few more breaths then I once did but I'm still not flat. I'm happy though with any kind of progress big or small.

Had the most amazing day at @wanderlustausnz run, yoga and meditation. Spending the day with a bunch of complete strangers who are all like minded and just as crazy about yoga as me, is just amazing. Thank you to @perkiiprobiotics for hosting us and providing the hydration all day your amazing.

Day 5  Almost one week to go!  I've had a migraine and didn't do any yoga, so I needed a little help from my yoga block tonight. I do not recommend going into a split without warning up. So...it's "do as I say, not as I do".   Much love to all who read this!  Om Shanti Shanti ️

How quickly time passes. One day I'm feeling lazy and I force myself to get on my mat, asking y'all if you'd join me on getting on your mats every day for a month with me. And next thing I know, it's Day 27 and time on my "mat" becomes something I look forward to again every night. ▪

Love where you are. Be here. Right now. Enjoy this breath. Be grateful for this life. It's fleeting and short and surprising. So be here. Now.

Day 7 is Prasarita Padottanasana / Wide Leg Forward Bend with a shoulder stretch

Join us for series of 10 asanas devoted to opening up our hamstrings and shoulders. We will aim to release tightness which has built up through our regular daily activities, helping to prevent injuries and creating strength in the ligaments.
Instructions-
Stand in mountain pose. Step the feet wide apart with the toes slightly turned in. Press the soles of the feet firmly into the floor. Spread your weight evenly between the heel and ball of each foot. Inhale, tuck the tailbone under and lengthen the spine upward through the crown of the head.
Interlace your fingers together behind the back, if possible with the heels of the palms together. Lengthen the hands away from the shoulders, squeezing the shoulder blades together and rolling open the upper chest. Inhale and lengthen the spine. Exhale as you hinge at the hips and fold forward. Roll the shoulders away from the ears as you squeeze the shoulder blades together toward the spine and bring the fingers toward the floor. Allow the back of the neck to be long, and ease the crown of the head towards the floor.
Press into the outer edges of the feet as you lift the sitting bones up toward the ceiling, softening and lengthening the hamstring muscles at the back of the thighs. Keep your heels, knees, and sitting bones in one line.
If tour head touches the floor, increase your challenge by bringing the feet closer together.
