Sometimes when I meet new people and the conversation somehow reaches the subject of sports, when they find out I do actually go to the gym, a lot, and they give me this up-and-down look and stare directly at my belly and say "you? Really?" The other day an older co-worker asked me if I watch my figure, cause he sees me eat a salad every day at work. And I do, I eat a salad every damn day at work for years, that's my main lunch and main meal a day. I do cooked meals once or max twice a week and sometimes, very seldom, I will have a veggie burger, a chicken or a pizza.
Regardless, I asked why did he ask me and he just stared cause he knew that wasn't a very okay question to ask someone at work. And I said "are wondering why I'm fat, if I have salad everyday? Cause you know, the world isn't decided into skinny people that don't eat and fat people that do" he apologized of course and we stopped talking.

Looks can be deceiving. Personally lm in not mad at people for judging me, that's what they learned to do from society, being judged and judge others. For who they are, for their accent, skin color, origin, weight and all those fun things we like to judge about. Me? I have never walked a minute in someone else's shoes, I only know how its like to be me, and I'm trying my best to be as awesome as I wanna be, and we all are. So no judgment is needed, at all, ever.
Be your awesome self, work and improve on whatever is important to you, and mind your own fucking business, we are all just trying to get by, live another day, stay healthy and happy. No matter if we are fat or skinny Or whatever else. Happy weekend

So I was thinking over and over whether I should or shouldn't post this pic today.
It's so stupid actually because I'm sure that if I had posted it without saying anything about it, you guys wouldn't have given it a second thought. But here I am, I spend all day feeling great about myself and that I was able to get up in the morning and go to the gym and feel fantastic, but I hated the damn picture cause my face is all puffy from waking up and I'm not wearing my make up.
It's crazy how I had gotten used to being this other person but in fact the true me is underneath all the layers of color and contour and highlight, so I'm trying to get used to myself, the way I am. Make up less and frizzy haired. And talk about it, actually talk about my insecurities and not pretend that they don't exist cause that's not what body positivity is really about.
