At the end of the day, I want to be relatable. At the end of the day, I want you to see that I'm just like you. And honey, my legs still jiggle and have stretch marks and squish together when I sit down and have that little extra to love on the back of them like any other woman. FACT.

My legs might say "fitness" but before that, they scream human. Because newsflash: no one walks around with perfect lighting and perfect angles or perfectly flexed legs all the time. And ladies, before you start comparing yourself to all of the perfectly lit photos on your Instagram feed, remember that. #fitness #health #transformation

#inst10 #ReGram @nessasphere: 111 calories less in just one meal, can actually make quite a difference in your daily total ✔️ If you hit a plateau and you are stuck on your journey although you think you eat healthy, consider some easy fixes that may move your progress forward. Both of the above meals are clean and nutritional but the one on the top looks bigger and actually is lighter. How did I do this? I changed half (40g) of the whole wheat pasta for 200g of zucchini noodles  Zucchini boosts nutrient value of this lunch box, reduces your meal calories and the dish tastes even more delicious. I could still go only for zoodles and I would save another 100 calories but I believe a well balanced meal should include carbs. Besides the mentioned change, both meals include the same amount of shrimps (protein source) and home-made pesto (healthy fats source). As I already said before, both boxes are healthy and depending on your goals you can still choose the one with the double amount of whole grain pasta (if you aim to gain)  But remember you always have a choice and less calories doesn't necessarily mean less quantity and taste 🤗 #nutrition #meals #lunchbox #fooddiary #mealprep #nutritionable #nutritiontips #macros

️Before you read anything below it's important to clarify one major point: the fitness industry LOVES to overcomplicate shit. The bigger the word and fancier the name the better it sounds and the more it can sell.

Carb Cycling, for example, *sounds* fancy. And a lot of coaches come up with elaborate schemes and explanations to make it sound way more impressive than it really is. (Similar to how many overcomplicate Intermittent Fasting as well).

Here's the deal. At it's core, carb cycling is simply this: some days you eat higher carb/lower fat. Other days you eat lower carb/higher fat. That's it. Period. End of story.

Yes, there are ways to manipulate it based on individual needs and preference. But the big rocks are simply a mix of high carb/low fat and low carb/high fat days throughout the week.

 Most important of all, carb cycling is NOT a replacement for calories. In other words, calories still count regardless of whether or not you carb cycle. So if you're struggling to lose weight and are thinking of carb cycling, that's amazing and I support you and will help you. But FIRST you need to get your calorie intake in check.

Having said all of that, my preferred carb cycling schedule is EITHER 3 high carb + 4 low fat days OR 4 high carb + 3 low fat days.

🥐Both options are totally fine and work just as well. The key is to find what YOU enjoy most so you can stick with it long-term.

Also, I usually prefer to have my high carb days on training days because they give me more energy for working out. BUT you do NOT need to do that so long as total calorie intake is in check at the end of the week.

Want to try it? Awesome! First get your cals in check, then your protein. Once those are in order you can establish the carb cycling schedule that works best for you and plug & play from there.

Little known fact, I spent 2 years living in Morocco so I have a 'thing' for anything Morocco inspired. My hubby (God bless him!) spent most of the day hanging this chandy because it wasn't long enough. He had to practically rebuild the light from scratch. Good thing he loves a challenge!

#inst10 #ReGram @bradmel: so people always tell me that they have their training on point yet they aren't able to lose weight. it's all about the diet, and being aware of what the nutritional info is about products, as shown here, a cup of trail mix (yea people don't usually measure it by a cup, just snack on it but is easy to eat a lot)  is a healthy food choice yet is really calorie dense and not a high volume food. has just about the same amount of cals as a blizzard. So this just goes to show that you can think your eating healthy low calorie alternatives when in reality they are jam packed with calories, so if you're having issues with being able to lose weight, pay attention to labels and get educated/informed about what you are putting into your body. diet is all about cals in vs cals out when trying to lose weight. shoutout to @cartergood for this comparison, check his page out if your looking for nutritional info. #nutrition #facts
